Insurance Coverage
As you journey through pregnancy, childbirth and beyond, it's reassuring to know that doula care is available to you and covered by your insurance. In California today, many individuals can access this essential support during one of the most significant times in their lives. My services are covered by Medi-Cal and Kaiser, Insurance. Other Insurance companies provide compensation for my services.
Medi-cal
(Partnership & Kaiser)
With Medi-cal you are able to receive Doula care. This includes the following:
~one initial 90 min appointment
~8 perinatal appointments that can be divided into prenatal and postpartum care
~Labor support with a vaginal or cesarian birth
~Support after a miscarriage
~two extended 3 hour visits

Other Insurance
Many insurance companies offer compensation for Doula services. Please contact your insurance company to see if you qualify for this coverage.
